Glendale Block Home

This house we moved on site about 800 feet and at over 260,000 pounds it required a truck on one side and a winch truck on the other. we also used special mats to keep the house from sinking into the desert sand.

This was a big deal for the town of Goodyear. The engineers from the town said it couldn't be done. The owner brought hot chocolate and donuts for everyone and some locals came by. The children from preschool next door came to watch.
